With Clara Lemon Sunday afternoon, 18th March 2018 - spaces
This accessible 3-hour workshop will explore how to integrate your breath into your yoga practice in a way that introduces more freedom and support.
We often forget to breath, or fall back into old and unhelpful breathing patterns that can involve struggle and frustration. Limitations in our breath can manifest elsewhere in the body and mind but we will benefit from addressing them where we can.
We will spend time exploring our own breathing patterns and ways in which we can start to improve long-standing habits for greater health and wellbeing. Undoing old, unhelpful patterns that are restrictive or uncoordinated and learning techniques that can help us develop greater freedom and support from our breath can be transformative in its own way.
Moving beyond coordinating our yoga movements and breath, we will understand how to truly become breath-centred so that the breath is at the heart of our yoga practice and is a fundamental tool for health and wellbeing.
The afternoon session will aim to provide a new found perspective on our breathing and will offer handouts for home practice to continue our breathing improvements.
All abilities, levels of fitness and experience are welcome. There will be breaks and refreshments provided, plus a chance to ask questions.
