Regular home yoga practice is an ideal way to gain the most benefit from yoga. But how to get started? And then where to go with it? How will I know if I'm doing it 'right'?
In this session we will explore and develop some foundations that can gradually develop into a fuller yoga practice. We will explore principles that will help you find a home practice that is tailored and adapted to suit you, your aims and stage of life. There isn't a one size fits all approach, and learning a set sequence, or defaulting to Sun Salutations can be counter productive. Get started on a sustainable approach to home yoga practice.
This workshop will help you understand the essentials of home yoga practice, guidelines of where to start, and guidance to get you on your way confidently. We will work with a framework for establishing your own practice.
This accessible 3-hour workshop will introduce useful home yoga practice handouts which we will discuss and practice. These include yoga postures and breathing techniques to get you started practicing at home. Home yoga practice can be adapted to suit your level of fitness, experience, needs and interests which will be covered during the workshop.
An enjoyable afternoon session in a small group, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions answered. Refreshments and break provided during the afternoon. All welcome.
