A typical yoga class with me includes a mixture of static and dynamic postures, breathing practice and meditation. The class can sometimes be physically challenging but I provide modifications for difficult poses, so that students of different levels are able to learn together and receive maximum benefits.
My style of teaching aims to increase individual potential by providing a relaxing and supportive atmosphere for students of all abilities. The emphasis on body and mind awareness means that the yoga practice is not only safe and rewarding but students will notice their development sooner
My students have expressed that practicing yoga has helped them to feel relaxed, grounded and energised. They have also noted that their posture and alignment have improved considerably and noticed therapeutic benefits such as alleviation of back problems and decrease in stress and tension.

Background
I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years and in 2003 took a British Wheel of Yoga foundation course, which led me to study for a British Wheel of Yoga diploma in teaching yoga at the Life Centre in London. I've has been teaching yoga in Bristol since 2004.
