This accessible 3-hour workshop will give you a pragmatic exploration of the foundations of yoga practice, including physical postures, breathing and meditation. It will give you time and space to experience and practice yoga in a supportive and friendly environment.
You will be encouraged to explore and experience the core principles of yoga practice, to work with some key yoga postures, and to experience accessible meditation techniques. You should leave the workshop feeling relaxed and refreshed, and inspired to continue practicing.
It will be a friendly and informal workshop where all abilities, levels of fitness and experience are welcome from those who have never tried yoga before to those who have attended group classes but are curious to explore further. There will be breaks and refreshments provided, plus a chance to ask questions and to explore your experience in a supportive environment. There will also be handouts of yoga practice and meditation techniques that you can take home and try. Sitting cross-legged is not required (chairs provided) and all equipment is provided.
Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness including complete beginners.
