Extended yoga practice exploring bodywork (asana), yoga breathing (pranayama) and meditation. This 3-hour workshop will give you a pragmatic exploration of the foundations of yoga practice in a supportive and friendly environment.
Exploring at your own pace using the viniyoga approach to yoga practice you should gain an understanding of your body and breath and how to work helpfully in your practice so that it leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed, and inspired to continue practicing.
It will be a friendly and informal workshop where all abilities, levels of fitness and experience are welcome from those who have never tried yoga before to those who have attended group classes but are curious to explore further. There will be a break and refreshments provided, plus a chance to ask questions and to explore your experience in a supportive environment. There will be handouts of yoga practice and meditation techniques that you can take home and try.
Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness including complete beginners.
