Let's spend some time exploring how to deepen our mindful approach to yoga practice. We'll explore the related concepts of axis, the form around that axis, and 'bhavana' (the way we focus or visualise what we are doing in our yoga practice). And how this can transform our physical and mental stability, integrity and alignment.
We will be looking in more depth at the axis which supports us in our practice. Exploring the physical form and shape around the axis to find direction and openness in our bodies. Add to this the idea of 'bhavana' - the way we bring either internal or external focus to what we do in our yoga practice and with our bodies. The use of bhavana can profoundly change or develop our relationship with the yoga postures (asana) and create space for a new relationship between support & direction to open up. It will be a friendly and informal workshop including practice and discussion with a welcoming approach to enquiry into your yoga practice and understanding.
