Enjoy practicing yoga from home online via Zoom. It's still great to see you via the magic of the internet.
You’ll need a laptop, computer, tablet or smart phone to join our online classes.
Please let us know of any health conditions you'd like us to be aware of before you practice, or if you have questions. We can chat before the class if you arrive 5 minutes early, or email us at least the day before.
You’ll receive the Zoom link for your class as soon as you’ve completed your online booking. The link should arrive right away. Check your junk mail folder if you don't receive it.
Your Zoom link will be active from 10 minutes before the class start time.
If it is your first online class we are happy to help you get set up. Please get in touch before hand so we can help you if needed. Download the Zoom 'Client for meetings' if you are new to Zoom.
If there are any technical glitches or it doesn’t work for any reason, don’t worry, we’ll help sort it out, or offer a class credit for a future class or recording of the class to take fully at a time that suits you.
Most importantly - enjoy your practice. The benefits should speak for themselves. Please get in touch if this isn’t the case.
Top tips
Set up in advance
Set up your computer, phone or tablet so you can view it easily
Turn the sound up, or use an extra speaker to you can hear the teacher well
You can have your camera turned on or off if you'd rather not be visible to anyone. If you want the teacher to see you, make sure you have a light or window in front of you, and no window behind you or you'll be in silhouette.
Prepare a quiet space with either a yoga mat or on carpet or a rug.
We like yoga blocks for some sitting poses or a few big books with a towel / blanket on top to be comfortable when you’re sitting on them.
We suggest turning off your phone before starting to get the most from your practice.
You'll be on mute during the class. You'll be greeted at the beginning with a chance to chat at the start and at the end if you want to.
Safe practice
As with all yoga practice, please listen to your body and don’t do anything that is uncomfortable or hurts, nothing should hurt.
You are welcome to be in touch with us before or after the class with questions or to discuss your practice, we are here to help. This might be particularly useful if you have particular health issues or injuries. We are here to help.
Look forward to seeing you soon and hope you stay well.
