YogaSpace offers excellent quality yoga teaching, providing friendly, welcoming and inspiring classes that are beneficial for a wide range of students.
We teach in a beautiful, simple space dedicated to practices for personal development and wellbeing. We support the yoga teachers who work here and offer the option of mentoring to help you develop as a teacher.
We teach based in the tradition of Krishnamacharya and Desikachar. If you have studied these traditions then we would love to hear from you.
making every yoga class a safe and beneficial for all those who attend.
a supportive approach to teaching. We want our students to get the most from their classes with us, whatever their ability. Our classes are inclusive and supportive.
adapting the practices to suit our bodies and lifestyles. Some aspects of yoga are less applicable to modern day life or only suitable for certain practitioners who have a well established daily yoga practice. At Bristol YogaSpace we understand that many people benefit from adapted postures that allow them to achieve greater benefit. (No shoulder stands to warm up please.).
outstanding teacher training. All of us have at least 2 years training and often we have 4 years or more training. Many Bristol yoga teachers have only received a very limited teacher training course, often lasting less than a year, which we hope is the beginning of their teaching journey and that they develop their knowledge and skill with further training..
an ongoing commitment to professional training and continually developing our teaching skills.
feedback from our students. We occasionally invite anonymous feedback from students to find out how we are doing and to keep our classes the best they can be.
