Pregnancy yogaPregnancy is a time of great change and yoga can offer support for all of the typical physical and mental issues that might arise during pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Classes are friendly, fun and informal and can be attended as stand-alone classes or follow-on from the birth preparation class beforehand. Vivien is passionate for all women to have a calm and gentle birth experience and feels strongly a few basic skills can offer this to every woman and support their pregnancy in a positive way.
Birth preparation classesEach session will cover a topic of birth preparation, e.g. relaxation skills for pregnancy and labour, breathing techniques for labour, how to help reduce pain, positions for labour, massage and touch, and many more. Every session will be complete in itself but combines best with others to offer a comprehensive overview of the skills needed to have a calm and comfortable labour and birth. More in depth than the overview intensive courses with time to discuss, practice and then take home and try.
