Yoga is a great support for managing daily life and adjusting our relationship to stressful situations. Stress is an inevitable part of daily life which we cannot eliminate - however we can learn to manage our experience of it in different ways.
Yoga offers many tools to support us and in this workshop, we will explore the opportunities these provide. We can learn to approach situations in a new way, allowing us to use the support and direction of our regular yoga practice in our daily life. The workshop is an accessible exploration of yoga to support and manage stress and is open to everyone.
The yoga tools explored will be posture practice (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), meditation and some of the yoga texts (Yoga Sutra by Patanjali) that underpin these teachings.
