Yoga with Clara revitalises, and bring stability to body and mind, and cultivates much-needed space in our busy lives. The classes are slow, flowing and closely linked to the breath with meditative space.

Practice yoga with your body, rather than for your body. As you would hope from yoga, the common aches and pains improve, our stresses are eased, we become more confident in our practice. Let go of the struggle with yourself and enjoy real yoga.

Teaching style & training

Viniyoga uses traditional yoga postures, breathwork and meditative techniques which are modified to suit everyone in the class. It feels different from most modern yoga classes. One size doesn't fit all, simple poses with subtle adaptations and modifications to enable your breath and life to flourish and discover your yoga. Check your expectations at the door and discover simple, profound yoga for everyone.

This individualised approach requires extensive training, which was over 4-years (not the usual 200 or 500 hour training)and is accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga and the Association of Yoga Studies. Over the years I have taken further training in yoga for pregnancy and postnatal support, children's yoga, mindfulness and meditation, Alexander technique, Ayurveda, Vedic chanting and philsophy, in particular the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali.

Anna

"My Osteopath who recommended your class, has remarked that he hasn't seen this much improvement in my spine and back health after only a few months, than in all the years I've been seeing him."
Sarah

"I finally understand about the breath now."
