Revitalise body and mind and discover more stability, spaciousness and ease. Classes with me are slow, flowing and closely linked to the breath with meditative space.

Improve aches and pains, enhance strength and stability, manage stress better, feel more resilient and confident and learn not to struggle with yourself. This in turn helps us find the best in our yoga and in our lives.

All classes are Open Level with a range of challenges and optional developments when you feel ready. Where classes are called 'Gentle' or they accommodate a wider range of mobility levels and health issues. Everyone is welcome. The Gentle Yoga on Wednesdays can be chair-based for those who need it and is also available online.

Feel free to get in touch to chat through any questions you may have.

Teaching style & training

Viniyoga uses traditional yoga postures, breathwork and meditative techniques which can be modified to suit you as needed. It feels different from many modern yoga classes with simple poses with subtle adaptations and modifications to enable you to feel vital and flourish in your yoga. Leave your expectations at the door and discover simple, profound yoga for everyone.

This individualised approach requires extensive training - over 4-years (not the usual 1-2 year 200 or 500 hour training) and is accredited with the British Wheel of Yoga and the Association of Yoga Studies. Over the years I have taken further training in yoga for pregnancy and postnatal support, children's yoga, mindfulness and meditation, Ayurveda, Vedic chanting and philosophy, in particular the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali.

Anna

"My Osteopath who recommended your class, has remarked that he hasn't seen this much improvement in my spine and back health after only a few months, than in all the years I've been seeing him."
