A day of yoga with Clara Lemon

This day of yoga is to help counter some of the imbalances that we have embodied and hold within us, in body, breath and mind.
Join me for an in-person day of yoga to refresh and revitalise our yoga practice and restore balance and harmony to the different levels of ourselves. We will explore the ancient Panca Maya model from the Upanishads - delving through the 5 dimensions of self using an enjoyable range of practices from asana (postures), to pranayama (breathwork), chanting, meditation and relaxation.
Returning to balance doesn't necessarily mean exploring complex balance postures or strenuous practice. The emphasis will be on working through the accessible, physical practices to increasingly more subtle aspects throughout the day. We will investigate imbalances in our bodies, energy, emotions, thoughts, and use a wide range of yoga practices to reconnect to a more harmonious state.
There will be time spent practicing, discussing the practices and the philosophy underpinning it to help gain understanding and inspiration. Home practice handouts will be offered to take home.
All abilities, levels of fitness and experience are welcome, modifications and adaptations as needed are readily available. If your not sure, please feel free to get in touch to see if this will be suitable for you.
There will be ample breaks in between the practice and discussion sessions and healthy snacks, biscuits and teas.
Please bring lunch for yourself or there are lovely cafes along Gloucester Road too.
