Home yoga practice can support you during the summer holidays and beyond. It is portable, doesn't need much space or special kit and is a great way to establish or maintain a regular yoga practice and all the benefits this brings. Even when our routines are changing with warmer weather, longer daylight hours, holidays and kids off school.
This afternoon session is aimed at developing your summer yoga practice. We will spend our time together establishing some foundations and sequencing a practice including exploring adaptations and supports where helpful.
We will discuss principles that will help you find a home practice that is tailored and adapted to suit you, your aims and stage of life and time of the day / month / year. There isn't a one size fits all approach, and learning a set sequence, or defaulting to Sun Salutations can sometimes be counter productive.
This workshop will help you understand the essentials of home yoga practice, guidelines of where to start, and guidance to get you on your way confidently. We will work with a framework for establishing your own practice.
This accessible 3-hour workshop will introduce useful home yoga practice handouts which we will discuss and practice with explorations of practice ideas that you can make your own or adapt to suit you. Home yoga practice can be adapted to suit your level of fitness, experience, needs and interests which will be covered during the workshop.
An enjoyable afternoon session in a small group, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions answered. Refreshments and break provided during the afternoon. All welcome. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily. Feel free to get in touch if your not sure if this is suitable for you.
