Cultivate your ability to be in the present moment and find release from the constant mental chatter. This can feel hard, or even impossible to achieve which is where yoga practices come in.
Working with the body through yoga postures and body alignment, breathwork, meditation techniques and careful and appropriate sequencing we can prepare and settle the body, breath and mind and start to develop greater strength, focus and stability.
Learning how to calm the constant agitation of our thoughts helps to create space within ourselves and allows for time to explore, notice and understand some of the subtleties of our lives.
Discover how to cultivate a deep and supportive containment of unhelpful body and thought patterns. And rather like weeding a garden, create a positive space and more helpful ways of being. We will practice yoga with slow vinyasas and flowing postures, and improve your overall stability and deepen your absorption in the present moment. The workshop will introduce you or support you to revisit ways of ‘being’ through yoga rather than simply ‘doing’ yoga.
There will also be handouts for home practice and refreshments during the afternoon along with time for discussion.
Suitable for all levels of fitness and experience including beginners.
