Modern life & ancient wisdom An afternoon of yoga with Clara Lemon Sunday 5th November 2017 - spaces
Join Clara for an introduction to some of the philosophical underpinnings of modern day yoga practice. Explore what the postures, breath and focusing aspects of our yoga practice have to do with an ancient tradition and how the teachings are still so relevant to every day life both on the yoga mat and beyond.
We will be exploring yoga practice, moving, breathing, meditation along with an overview of this ancient text making it relevant and perhaps offering insights to deepen your practice of and engagement with yoga.
All levels of experience and styles of practice are welcome including beginners and those with limited mobility. Adaptions will be offered for you as needed to ensure participation by everyone. Just come with a sense of curiosity.
There will be breaks and refreshments provided, plus a chance to ask questions and to explore your experience in a supportive environment. There will also be handouts of yoga practice and meditation techniques that you can take home and try. All equipment is provided (unless you prefer to bring your own).
Feedback from previous workshops with Clara "A feeling of investing time." "A sanctuary from busy life" "A real opportunity to learn more of the different practices and aspects of yoga"
