If you feel your posture could do with improving then this workshop is for you. Most of us slouch in our everyday movements, and this can develop over time into chronic back and shoulder pain, stiffness, body tension and tightness.
This 3-hour workshop is designed to revisit your posture, using yoga postures and breathing to strengthen, lengthen and re-invigorate your supporting core strength and release physical and mental tension. We will aim to explore and develop self-awareness of your own posture as a first step to improving it. We will then explore simple breathing and yoga postures to help overcome any challenges and improve our overall energy and wellbeing.
A handout on a recommended yoga practice for better posture will be provided along with refreshments during the afternoon. Please wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily.
The afternoon will comprise of 3 accessible yoga sessions with a break for refreshments mid-afternoon. All equipment is provided at the studio.
Everyone is welcome including complete beginners. Please wear comfortable clothes to allow you to move comfortably.
